I especially liked how the 3rd edition came about. The first edition was written by William S. Crowe in 1952. Crowe's daughter, Helen Crowe McGlothlin, promised on his death bed to print the second edition, which came out in 1977. And then Crowe's granddaughters, Lynn McGlothlin Emerick and Ann McGlothlin Weller took the helm at creating the third edition celebrating the 50th anniversary of their grandfather's writings.
When I finished reading this Book I wanted to...
When I finished reading this book I wanted to learn more about the rough, but colorful life the early day lumberjacks lived.
This Book made me feel...
This book made me feel happy to have indoor plumming, an electric stove, furnace, washer and dryer, knowing I have no bedbugs and clean linens...get the picture.
The author of this Book...
Lynn McGlothlin Emerick and Ann McGlothlin Weller are co-editors of the third edition.
