How much it pulled you in to the book. When you pick it up, you can't put it back down.

It was somehwhat violent. It was very descriptive when talking about the beating of slaves.

Very thankful the life that I have.

Wrote in a very unique way. Since it was from the point of a slave, he used language to show that they did not have very good vocabulary.

It really makes you think. It is a very good book.
