Summary of this Book...
We join Roland Deschain of Gilead following his palaver with the Man in Black. Many years have passed, and the last Gunslinger has aged, but he is just as determined to continue his quest to the Dark Tower.
He stumbles upon three doors which take him into a world that appears to be like our's, in New York. With each door he comes to, he draws a new companion into his own world. The first is Eddie Dean, from a when that seems to be the mid 1980's. The second is Odetta Walker, from a when that seems to be the mid 1960's.
The third door that Roland comes upon is a strange person, indeed, and the book ends following his adventures in the when of this third door.
