Summary of this Book...
The fourth book of the Tomorrow Series

One friend has gone, to be replaced by yet another. Leaving 5 of the original 8. Returning from New Zealand with the soldiers, Ellie and Lee are instructed to lead them into attack, and for them to say strictly safe. The soldiers don't come back though, and they are left on their own once again.

Tired and sick of killing people they begin to slow down, and become depressed. Now they make another attempt... something bigger than ever before. It goes wrong, and they are left alone again... more helpless than ever before.
This type of Book is good for...
Any age, this book does not have as much action or death in it. Making it easier for people that are easily disturbed. This book deals with the emotional struggles and how regular teenagers deal with tough situations.
I especially liked...
how it's written. Everything is entirely true, the meaning and the lessons. I loved how John Marsden captures each characters emotion and builds them to you, making you feel as if you're there with them.
I didn't like...
the lack of action in this book. I'm an action junkie though. This book deals with Emotions. Good but not what I look for. Of course emotion is good to some people... but there is a lack of action in this one.
When I finished reading this Book I wanted to...
think about what John Marsden talked about, he created some issues that are worth thinking about. The emotional distress the characters go through and feel is overwhelming.
This Book made me feel...
different... different than how the others did. The deep state of emotions in this book is a little hard to comprehend. But none the less it made me feel good about where I live and the fact that I didn't have to go through what they live through.
The author of this Book...
is John Marsden. An Australian man who has written many successful titles such as Tomorrow, when the war began and the rest of the series. He has also written the Ellie chronicles, and new series for Tomorrow, when the War Began Fans. Among these works he's published such books as So Much to Tell You, Staying Alive In Year Five, Letters from the inside, Out Of Time and many other wonderful stories. I especially recommend Winter and Checkers. His website is www.JohnMarsden.com
I recommend this Book because...
as the fourth it's a necessity if you want to learn the emotional needs of the characters. Anybody who read the first three wouldn’t even need me to tell them to read this book, they'll go buy it without even reading my reviews! It's that good
Further Comments...
Read it! It may not be as action packed as the previous ones but it's full of something every reader needs to read. Emotional needs of an average teenager in a horrible situation. It's a truly honest book.
