The Kite Runner follows a young afghan boy through his life. It tells about his friends, family, and his country and the war it went through.

If you like somewhat sad/depressing books, this is a great book! But it does have a bitter sweet ending.

I loved all the twists there were. It kept me on the edge of my seat and wanting to read more.

How sad it was.

Read another book by this author, which doesn't come out until november of next year!

Sad, inspired, intrigued of the culture and country.

Did an amazing job with detail and keeping my interest.

I really enjoyed it, and I think it gave me an isight to Afghan culture.

It is kinda of depressing.

I had to read this for a summer reading assignment for college. I wasn't looking forward to it, because I mainly enjoy fantasy. Once I got to chapter 4 or so, I couldn't put the book down. There are so many twists it keeps you on edge and wanting to read more.
