The longest story in this book is about a guy and his realationships with the people around him. It doesn't sound like much but it's a little more interesting then just that. It delves a little bit into the dynamics and psychology of different friendships, relationships, and social circumstances.

people who like Aldous Huxley's other works and is curious of his lesser known peices.

the descriptions of some of the people and their dynamics. At one point the main character compairs his best friend to a loyal old mongral, always home and waiting for him. It painted a sad but pretty accute picture. I also liked the theory of why people hold social gatherings and parties.

how the stories really didn't go anywhere.

find something else obscure to read.

it's just an interesting footnote to an otherwise impressing body of work.

it's certainly not Huxley's best and I wouldn't tell someone whose never rad Huxley to start with it.
