The author of this Book...
Keith Roscoe is an associate professor at the Faculty of Education, University of Lethbridge. He previously taught science at elementary, secondary, and college levels in the UK and Canada, and was for a time, a fish and wildlife biologist. He obtained his PhD in Secondary Science Education from the University of Alberta, specializing in middle school science curriculum. He currently teaches science education, environmental-outdoor education and curriculum at the University of Lethbridge. One of his current research projects examines the implications of philosophy of science for science teaching and learning. Rick Mrazek is Assistant Dean, Graduate Studies and Research, and a professor in the Faculty of Education, University of Lethbridge. He taught elementary through highschool prior to obtaining his PhD in Science Education at the University of Alberta. He taught at the University of Alberta and served with Alberta Education where he helped establish the Student Evaluation and Assessment branch. He has dedicated himself to developing and implementing a Science-Technology-Society-Environment curriculum in schools. Dr. Mrazek is internationally recognized as a noted science, technology, and environmental educator and has received several awards for his contributions to scientific learning.
