Ever wonder what would have happened if metal had never gone away? Chances are the something like Avenged Sevenfold would have been out a whole lot sooner. I found this band to be considerably good, anyone who missed the harmony and the ability to sing in key of late 70's and 80's rock stars is going to love this album. This lyrics are actually pretty decent as well. Don't expect anything like "Cherry Pie". They kind of sound like a good mix of Guns N' Roses and Bon Jovi. They definitely rock out!

Banging your head and blaring in your car or at home, without too much brain damage.

The harmony and the range on the album. Avenged Sevenfold has done their rock homework, minus the overly sexual and cheesy bits. Strongly opinionated without sounding like tools.

At the end of M.I.A., the singer sings so softly, it's kind of hard to hear him. But it's only for a few second. Also, I wish there had been more than just eleven tracks on this album. But the quality more than makes up for it.

Check this out if you are a fan of old school metal, or if you hate mainstream bands like Blink 182 and Coldplay. This album is a welcome alternative to rock like that.
