This CD contains some cover songs, though with a new music twist: "Tainted Love/Where Did Our Love Go" and "Hot Stuff (I Want You Back)," as well as the music Pussycat Dolls are better known for singing. The cruel lyrics of "Dontcha" and the innuendos of "Beep" are more in line with the reputation of the group and remind listeners that this is a "hot girl" group. But the album offers more than the same old, same old. The songs take you through the emotions of a woman--from the need for a committed relationship with the gentle sounds of "Stickwitu" (despite it's non-romantic title) to a woman's strength in "I Don't Need a Man." They twist things up even further with the "Right Now." Think Rosemary Clooney singing jazz in the 1950s and "back then" is the base for "Right Now." I love the whole album. I wasn't sure I would since I wanted it for one song in particular, but I love the variety.

Stickwitu. It's my favorite on the entire CD and despite how I've come to learn and appreciate the other songs, this is the only one of its kind on the album.

It's easy to listen to, easy to dance to (there really is something for everybody here) and the variety rescues it from being like so many other pop artist's albums. You'll never hear these girls sing, "Oops, we did it again, we sang the same song and just changed the words."
