Summary of this Book...
Having suffered a trauma from the death of her two children in her first marriage, Nancy Harmon must yet conquer a second trauma before she becomes nothing more than a broken doll. When the two children of her second marriage disappears one morning, her history of having attended court as a defendent for the murder of her children from her first marriage comes back to haunt her again. Her loving husband, Ray is convinced of her innocence...Did Nancy really kill her first two children and had taken up the hobby of a murderess again...or was she really clear of charges?
I especially liked...
Love expressed firmly and confidently by Ray, and the final heart-stopping drama of the climax, when he rescues Nancy from a fatal death.
I didn't like...
Nancy's constant flash back to her first two children-It was touching at first... But as I read on I was annoyed with Nancy's character...she was very wimpy and girly-though her character was intended to be that way owing to Nancy's early trauma as a young adult and the tragedy of her first marriage.
When I finished reading this Book I wanted to...
Look out my window to check for any potential murderers prowling around
This Book made me feel...
Warm and cuddly at the ending when Nancy found happiness and relief in her family. I felt pretty distressed though as I read the action and was engrossed by it, feeling everything a character felt and etc..
I recommend this Book because...
If you like the drama of tragedies, a psychotic murderer on the loose with a touch of love mixed in, this is the book for you.
Further Comments...
"Where are the Children" covets a thrilling mystery of a distressed woman and her loving family.

Though I was allowed to view the actions and the mind of the murderer, I didn't really feel like I could understand him and really comprehend what was wrong with him...Which is props to the writer because the murderer was psychotic, he can't be understood. :P

Overall the thrills, the pains and the beyond-satisfactory relief in the ending were there, I was kind of disappointed at the character developing...
Most of them were good and very rounded as love opened their eyes to the key of the mystery...but I was very annoyed at Nancy. Though it was very much in-character of her to constantly lament and regret the death of her first two children and occasionally of Carl, her first husband..I judged that she sounded very wimpy, very girly and very helpless. Too helpless to be viewed as a heroine, which she is destined to be at the climax..her change was very sudden and it was lacking a little...
However Nancy's insufficient development does not take away from the excitement of the action.
This book is worth reading.
