Marc Johnson thought he was doing the right thing by leaving his past behind. Now that decision has caught up with him; putting his friends and family in danger. As events spiral out of control he is forced to choose between the life he left behind and the life he has built in the ten years since. This is a story that revolves around the rebirth of an ideal and the creation of a modern-day knighthood; but at a cost too high for Marc and his friends to bear. Past love, current love, murder, and intrigue pave the path the Marc must travel to put the past to rest. To rise above his mistakes and deal with the consequences is the only hope he has for a future.

Someone looking for a nice tight story about actions and consequences.

It flowed well and quick. Little exposition, everything had a purpose. The dialog flowed and seemd natural, real people were in the book

There were time that the jumps between past a present didn;t flow well, but they were few and far between.

See if the author had any other.

Like rethinking some of the chocices I made in my life.

He reall had a story to tell and for a first novel, he did a great job.

It home for me in a lot of the scenes, almost like I was having the conversations.
