Summary of this Book...
Fast-paced action adventure, and oh yeah, I guess a book needs characters.
This type of Book is good for...
People who like to read 2 pages at a time before bed. People who just don't like to read and hardly ever finish books.
I especially liked...
The theological subject matter and questions about Christianity's widely accepted beliefs. The history with DaVinci.
I didn't like...
Every I didn't mention above. The characters are terrible. The writing style was poor. The dialogue makes me want to vomit. It was crafted to move along so fast that the author feels he needs to repeat, repeat, repeat. Really, how many times does the Fibonacci sequence need to be explained? And was I the only one who felt everything was predictable? Not at the onset, but a chapter or two before the "big events" I had already figured out what was going to happen.
When I finished reading this Book I wanted to...
Turn back the clock three hours and get my afternoon back.
This Book made me feel...
Disguested that the author is making gads of money. It's an entertaining read, don't get me wrong. The idea behind it is really sound. Its execution is exceptional sloppy.
I recommend this Book because...
I actually really wouldn't, except that everyone in America seems to have read it already so you might as well too so you can argue with them.
I don't recommend this Book because...
The style. The characters. The atrocious dialogue. The break-neck speed it moves at. The predictability.
Further Comments...
I think that about covers it. I don't understand the glorification of the book because I feel it's written poorly...actually, I feel it's written for non-readers who want to say they've read a book. It's much more like a script or comic book than a work of literature.
