Summary of this Book...
Three Kingdoms was written in the 12th/13th centuries in China. The story is set in the 2nd and 3rd AD in China and is about three kingdoms that are attempting to unite China.
But only one kingdom is destined to do so and only fate can say which kingdom will finally unite China.
This type of Book is good for...
History buffs and anyone who's looking for something truly classic.
I especially liked...
I loved how the story flowed and how easy it was to lose myself in the story.
I didn't like...
Finishing it, it left me wanting more.
When I finished reading this Book I wanted to...
Find more books about China and it's past.
This Book made me feel...
Not too bad, uncomfortable and sore, but it was worth it.
The author of this Book...
I don't know much about him other than he lived quite a long time ago and has written several books. The translation is done by an American history professor called Robert Moss who has done an excellent translation of such a beautiful language.
I recommend this Book because...
The story is amazing, it's timeless. It can grip you, it can make you cry, it can make you laugh, it can make you think.
I don't recommend this Book because...
When it's over, it leaves you strongly desiring more and so many of Luo Guanzhong's books are very hard to find in their translated form.
Further Comments...
If you're looking for the books, I would recommend using Amazon because they may just have the version you're looking for. I would highly recommend getting the full version because it also includes a glossery and a map of China in that time.
The price may be high, but it is worth it. Just be sure to have a good look around first for the best deal.
