This book provides details and reviews of a large number of current favorites like "Metropolis", "Frankenstein", "The Invisible Man" and "The Mummy", but doesn't neglect equally fascinating if more obscure items like "The Hound of the Baskervilles", "The Thief of Bagdad" and "Raggedy Ann and Andy".

all those who enjoy Hollywood's classic and vintage movies.
I especially liked...
the large-format pages, the easy-to-read lay-out and the well-reproduced illustrations of classic posters (albeit in black-and-white).

buy DVDs of many of the movies so lovingly reviewed.
This Book made me feel...
fortunate to be alive when so much of this wonderful material is currently available.
