This large-format, 260-page book focuses on some of Hollywood's best productions from the 1940s and 1950s. More than half the 150 top movies discussed in the book (with full cast and camera credits) are now available on DVD, including even such minor works as Joan Crawford's "Daisy Kenyon" and James Cagney's "13 Rue Madeleine".
I especially liked...
the inclusion of my favorite movie of all time: "Letter from an Unknown Woman". I'm also very partial to "Valley of the Kings" (see front cover full-color illustration).
