This is heavy rock music (I'm not saying "heavy metal" though). The lyrics are fluid, but definitely not "in your face". There is no screaming, but good true singing. Metallica's music has great melody, and the lyrics are breathtaking. This album is considered to contain "the best songwriting that they've ever done".

This music is great for when you feel a little sad, or when you're mad. It always gets me pumping. I personally also think it's great for writing! I've written quite a few poems to the sound of Metallica.

I especially loved the songs: "Enter Sandman," "Wherever I May Roam," "God That Failed," "Unforgiven," and "Nothing Else Matters." "Unforgiven" and "Nothing Else Matters" are slightly slower and quite beautiful.

I always want to listen to more, when I'm finished. Good thing that's possible!

I always felt better after I listened to Metallica. These songs inspire me and they make me feel like I can make it.

Metallica is an awesome band. There's not much rock out there that has such amazing lyrics. Their music is never "whiny", and the lyrics never flat out state something as sad or angry, etc, instead, you can feel it in the music.

I recommend this music because it has a lot of emotion in it. If you just sit there and listen to it, with no other distractions, it can really get you thinking. It's basically a joy to listen to.
