Tod, a baby fox, was adopted by an elderly woman. After living with her for a while, he meets a bloodhound named Copper. They become friends, but circumstances force them to become enemies. Watch Tod and Copper as they grow into adulthood and find out whether they are ever able to be friends again.

It's great for children. It has a lot of family values instilled and there is no going wrong with this video.

I loved the relationship between Tod and Copper. It gets complicated, but it will (in the end!) grow into something quite special. The animation is also very well done.

I wanted to see more of these two endearing characters. Thankfully, Disney later released a "Fox and the Hound 2"; however, it is not as good as the first, in my opinion.

The DVD made me feel happy, sad, and sympathetic. There is so much to love about this tale.

I'm recommending this DVD because it is one of Disney's masterpieces, and one of my all time favorite movies. I'll always have a special place in my heart for this video!

This movie can make you cry, so bring some tissues!
