Summary of this Book...
This is sort of a sequel to "Something Borrowed". What happens now to pregnant, still 'bitchy' and 'immature' Darcy?? After waging war against her best friend and ex-fiance, she goes to her (future husband) Marcus. But life isn't as perfect as it seems when the father of her baby leaves her on her own and decides he's had enough of her whining and isn't really ready to commit. This is where her adventure and unexpected transformation begins. She travels to London to live with her high school pal, Ethan Ainsley. At first, she's still the inconsiderate and 'everything-should-be-about-me' Darcy Rhone. But after a few harsh but true words from Ethan she decides to change into a new, improve Darcy... for his sake? Is this the start of a brand new romance?
This type of Book is good for...
Anyone who is single and pregnant and lost all hope of finding the right guy who'd accept them even with the 'extra baggage'. Also, for everyone who just want a good laugh with romance and drama!!
I especially liked...
Ethan Ainsley!! He's just the perfect, ideal guy... for me!! He truly loves Darcy even with all her flaws and he was the reason why the true, kinder Darcy emerged from her shell.
I didn't like...
Claire!! Good thing she was only mentioned in the beginning pages... She's a shallow, 'I-only-care-about-you-if-you-have-good-status' kind of person!! *grr* Hate her to the bones!!
When I finished reading this Book I wanted to...
Go and find myself an "Ethan Ainsley" for myself!! *laugh*
This Book made me feel...
That even when you feel like everything's not going right in your life, in the end there will still be a silver lining waiting for you. That the power of a baby is so strong, it can bring back relationships together. ,,That true love isn't finding the perfect person but finding that person's imperfections perfectly acceptable!!
The author of this Book...
Emily Giffin.
I recommend this Book because...
It's fun, romantic, and it has all these crazy but 'totally-makes-sense' lessons in it.
Further Comments...
After Darcy gave birth to one of her twins, the baby had a dimple, like Ethan. (Marcus doesn't have one.) And she thought the baby looked kind of like Ethan too. I wonder... how that is possible? Or maybe, she's just really in love with Ethan!! *smile*
