Kindness is an important value to have. In this adorable children's book for the younger child, Squiggly Bulgy doesn't start off being kind, but he learns with the help of a hungry bird that the kindness way is the better way.

This is a great 'read to' book and I can see it being used for story times in a library or school setting.

I loved the simple verse that propels the story forward in a clear and entertaining way so that the kids get the lesson without even realizing they are learning!
