Fahrenheit 451 is a bleak dystopia whose main character, Guy Montag, a fireman, is charged with burning books, which are now illegal in this futuristic society. However, Guy starts to see his world differently and starts to question his role within it.

fans of dystopian fiction will love this book. If you're a fan of 1984 or Brave New World, for example, you'll probably like this book.

It's so straight-forward and simple. The paperback is a mere 176 pages, but it's filled with meaning. I read this first when I was in high school, then again in my early 30s, and I loved it both times.
