Summary of this Book...
After losing her job, Stephanie Plum, cousin to Vinnie, who happens to have a bail-bonds business, is reluctantly hired to help out. Although Stephanie has no experience at this kind of work, she's desperate, and reminds him of things she knows, which encourages him to cooperate.

Eventually, she decides she wants to "bag Morelli", because he's wanted, even though he is a cop and a damned good one.

What ensues is funny, fun, and intriguing situations, which she ends up in. The characters are interesting, varied, and express many different facets of personalities.
This type of Book is good for...
almost anyone, who likes a variety of action, suspence, romance, and sheer fun.

There is something in this book that appeals to almost anyone, who is matured enough to read it.

It might not appeal to or be appropriate for young children, since it does have some curse words in it, depicts some adult interaction and violence which could be disturbing.
I especially liked...
I liked that at first the character attempted to do something that she had no experience at but was willing to learn. She's a bit reckless in her drive to be successful and ends up in situations that are dangerous. Lucky for her, she does have Joe Morelli, the cop, who grew up in her neighborhood who is looking out for her although he ends up her target to take in. I like how this is set in New Jersey, obviously a potentially dangerous part of town, Trenton. I liked the characters in it. Joe Morellia, the cop; Grandma Mazur; Ranger; even the hooker turned office helper--Lula; and the psycho prizefighter is vivid. There are many more characters in this story, which enhance it and make it worth watching.

I didn't like...
I honestly cannot find anything that I didn't like.
When I finished reading this Book I wanted to...
Read more of Janet Evanovich's books, and I did--all the way up to the most recent, which I plan on reading too.
This Book made me feel...
good as we can see someone down to earth and trying her best to do what she needs to in order to get by but also be who she is.
The author of this Book...
I love her writing. What can I say?
I recommend this Book because...
it is entertaining. It's also easy to read. The character's feel real and the setting is interesting.
Further Comments...
This book has been made into a move, which I have seen. I have to say that I was not disappointed. The storyline seems to be the same as it is in the book.
