So, the Hunger Games are over. That means Katniss gets to go back to her normal life, right? She's safe from The Capitol and the evil President Snow, right? Wrong. The real danger is just beginning.

if you've read the first book, The Hunger Games, and at least liked it a little bit, you owe it to yourself to continue with this one. If you haven't read the first book, I'd recommend reading it before this one.

I loved how the story is evolving and showing more of the political aspect of what's going on. It's not just a love story centered around a teen girl. There's a lot more going on, and that world is just opening up in this book.

take a little break. I did want to know what happened next, but the book is so intense and sad that I needed a break from it before I could continue to the last book.

This second book in the series is slower-paced than the first. It focuses less on action like the first, and more of the political climate. Personally, I really enjoyed that aspect of it but those wanting just love story and action might be a little disappointed.
