Twilight Over Moldavia is the second book in the Moldavian Moon series by Stephanie Burkhart. Aptly continuing the storyline, this book is about Stefan and Michael, the children of Theresa and Mihai, and Stefan's fiancée Caroline and her family.

A curse from the first book follows the Sigmaringens into the second book. The story is one of a blood-curdling chase. As a side issue, the unification of Romania is in the works, and a tour of Romania, starting from Constanta and continuing with Carpathia, Transylvania, and Wallachia, adds to the haunting beauty of this dark tale.

The suspense mounts when the crown prince Stefan fights to undo the curse before the deadline of his eighteenth birthday and with the help of Caroline, since a werewolf named Timon is after him to add him into his clan by turning him into a werewolf. The question of who will suffer as the result of the curse and who will manage to come on top provides the tension throughout the story.

The images, the moods of the scenes, the strength of the characters, and the romance between Stefan and Caroline make this book a classic in its genre, for rarely a second book in a series can be this engaging and electrifying.
