Summary of this eBooks...
Jack Durkin has a job unlike any other. To single handedly save the world! Every summer during the growing season, from the last frost to the first, he has to clear a particular field full of weeds. However, these aren't just any ordinary weeds; they're Aukowies, and if left to grow they could wipe out humanity. It's a job under contract that has been handed down through his generations, always to the first born son, but now his oldest son doesn't only not want to do it, but he doesn't believe the weeds are what his father claims they are. Worse yet, neither do all of the new generations that have grown up in the town.
I especially liked... | ||
The supsense that Zeltserman keeps in the book ensures a page turner. He doesn't really come out to describe the Aukowies, other than a few remarks about their razor sharp fangs and the death cries he hears when he pulls them, but that's all the reader really needs to know.
The author of this eBooks...
Dave Zeltserman went a little out of his usual genre with this book, but he did a wonderful job.
Further Comments... | ||
If you enjoyed 'Little Shop Of Horrors', I highly recommend this book. It's a seriously twisted take on the movie, but a great one!
