Summary of this Book...
When he rents out a home in a rural area of England with the intention of taking a break from the bustle (and scandals) of the city, Mr. Lockwood comes in contact with a rather strange household when he pays his landlord a visit. As though being attacked by dogs, both human and canine, wasn’t enough, Lockwood finds himself face-to-face with the home’s haunting past when a storm forces him to stay the night. Afterwards, he resolves to avoid any unnecessary visits. He takes ill during the ensuing winter, and to pass the time, he asks his housekeeper to tell him the story behind his uncivilized neighbors. She complies, unveiling the mysterious origins of the orphan Heathcliff and his inception into the Earnshaw family and Wuthering Heights, and his ensuing campaign for revenge.
