Summary of this Book...
Years after his guardian Bilbo Baggins leaves the Shire, Frodo and his friends set out on a sort of journey or adventure to get rid of the Ring. They meet many people on the way who accompany them, such as Aragorn (or Strider, as he was for a few chapters) and later on Legolas, Gimli, Boromir, and Gandalf. They set out and go through perilous times, and lose a person or two, until the end of the book, where confusion kind of wreaks havoc and Frodo and Sam are on their own.
This type of Book is good for...
Someone who has a lot of times on their hands, or fantasy readers.
I especially liked... | ||
that Tolkien created a lot of things, and that it always seemed to interest me. Also the fact that it was fantasy.
I didn't like... | ||
How long it took me. | ||
When I finished reading this Book I wanted to...
read the other two Lord of the Ring books.
This Book made me feel...
excited and happy. | ||
The author of this Book...
is J.R.R. Tolkien, who some consider to be the father of fantasy. He is also the author of The Hobbit.
I recommend this Book because...
It has fantasy and adventure. It also is very imaginative and fun to read.
I don't recommend this Book because...
It is a long read, and has lengthy sentences, and some may get bored.
