Summary of this Book...
This is a novel of suspense and mystery, but it has only very little to do with handwriting analysis as it was advertised. It is, however, a story that grabs the reader and doesn't let go, despite its many twists and turns.

The story starts with a woman who finds herself on a train and doesn't know who she is and feels she is in great danger, as she is suffering from amnesia, later explained as being due to a car wreck in which she hit her head. She runs out of the train in Ventura in a delirium. She makes her way inside an apartment that she thinks belongs to her, and slowly the mysteries start accumulating. As she stumbles upon clues to who she is, she discovers she has been using two identities. Soon enough, she finds herself in precarious situations. Her allies are a psychiatrist and his friend, the handwriting analyst, and a neighbor. To say more on the plot would be undermining this excellent suspense novel.

There were some parts of the puzzle, like the two identities, which I guessed much earlier than it was shown in the story. On the other hand, quite a few twists and turns existed that I didn't see coming.

Although with a happier ending, the plot is on the dark side. Even the improbable is explained convincingly as the story is quite well written.
This type of Book is good for...
reading in one sitting because the tension and suspense doesn't let go.
I especially liked...
the way the author twisted the story almost non-stop.
The n/a of this Book...
is Sheila Lowe, MS, is a real-life forensic handwriting expert who testifies in handwriting-related cases. Some of her books are: The Complete Idiot's Guide to Handwriting Analysis and Handwriting of the Famous & Infamous, Inkslinger's Ball, Poison Pen, Written In Blood, Last Writes, Dead Write.
I recommend this Book because...
It is an exciting, suspenseful story, good for a summer read.
