A down on his luck writer is struggling to get his first book published. He receives many rejections. He has to borrow money to live on from his father. He takes a supplement job to make his expenses. He also marries his long time girlfriend.

While on their honeymoon in Paris, his wife buys a satchel she finds in an antique store. They come back home and he begins to clean up the satchel. He finds a manuscript of a novel the previous owner had. He reads it and decides to retype it on his computer.He sends it in with HIS name on it. It turns out to be a best seller.

Unbeknownst to him, he meets the book's original author. After the author retell the story, this man fears he'll be in trouble for plagiarizing the book.

First time authors/writers. This is not the way to being a published author

The watt the movie/story has the audience on the edge of their seats for the duration of the picture.

That this writer wasn't being held accountable for his crime.

Try to see if I could get anything I wrote published.

Did very well with their performances. I've seen Jeremy Irons in other movies and television shows. He's a great actor.

It is very suspenseful and keeps the audience interested in the story.

I didn't know this is from 2012. I thought it was newer.
