Summary of this Book...
The non-fiction book Cellar of Horror, the story of Gary Heidnik, murderer, rapist, kidnapper, torturer, and cannibal is one of the most disturbing and interesting true crime stories written. Author Ken Englade did a remarkable job describing the mindset of Heidnik who was diagnosed with schizophrenia; he meticulously outlined chronological facts of Heidnik's crimes and the trial, and also gave enough background information about Heidik's childhood and life up until his death by lethel injection.
