Summary of this Book...
From the very beginning, I was swept inside this woman's head, locked into her mind as she struggles with living alone in New York with agoraphobia. Anna watches from her window, snapping photos, spying on her neighbors as they sneak around when they think no one is watching.

When Anna isn't at her window, she's drinking. She's drinking when she's watching movies, talking on the phone, and taking her medications, though she talks to very few people. She can't leave her home because of the accident--the accident that left her with agoraphobia. He husband and daughter no longer live with her, though she does speak to them on the phone. She was a child psychologist before the accident but sometimes helps others who are agoraphobic online, her handle being The Doctor is In They have no idea of all her issues, but she feels important doing this, and she's helping others. She is not a stupid woman, she's just in a place she can't seem to immerge from.

No one believes Anna when she sees the neighbor lady get stabbed. And when the neighbor lady's husband appears with his wife, it's not the same woman she saw stabbed from her window. Paranoia hits as no one will listen to her.

It's a twisty-turny ride through this mystery-thriller and you-the-reader can't be sure who is telling the truth and who is not.
This type of Book is good for...
Entertainment, book clubs, adults
I especially liked...
I liked Anna's character. Even though she is a bit messed up, she's a smart lady and I was rooting for her the whole time.
I didn't like...
...learning the truth about her family.
When I finished reading this Book I wanted to...
… read or listen to another book, because that's what I do. I did, however, think about the story for a while.
This Book made me feel...
… aware of agoraphobics. I used to have anxiety/panic issues, but not for the same reasons Anna Fox had.
The author of this Book...
A.J. Finn, an American author, is the pen name of Daniel Mallory, who works at William Morrow / Harper Collins as a senior publishing executive. He is a graduate of Oxford and also, a former book critic. He lives in New York City.
I recommend this Book because...
It's an interesting perspective from the main character.
