One of my pet peeves about books in the self-help, personal development, growth area is when they advertise a thing they will help you accomplish... and then they don't actually do that. The subtitle of this book is literally "finding your unique path to spiritual growth" by the book is mostly overly-long anecdotes and other references by the author. This book does include a lot of context and detail about the enneagram, but this book isn't marketed (or titled) as a reference guide. If you're interested in learning more about the enneagram itself, you might find this book interesting. As someone who was more interesting in applying the enneagram to my practical life experience, this book left me disappointed despite being relatively informative.
