This is a religious story, the first in a series of five books. It tells the story of two people,Hank and Sheila, battling incidents from their past that is keeping them from from fulfilling God's purpose in their lives. However, they seem in tune with God, because they seem to know when God talks to them and by listening to God. In the end they are each forced to confront the past and let go of the things holding them back so that they can be together as a couple.

Reflecting on God's purpose for us in this life.

The ending, when Hank was getting ready for his bride and Sheila's reflection on each person in her life as she walked down the aisle.

I also liked how the book brought out the importance of forgiving and what it does for a prson to be forgiven.

That God guides us all the time even if we are not aware of it.
