Henry has a disease that makes him travel uncontrollably through his own timeline - much to the inconvenience of his wife.

I loved the way that the time travel was handled. Having it be a disease and seeing how it worked in this unique world was a new spin on something that has been tackled a lot.

The way that the book is written too, telling you how old Henry and Clare are each time a new chapter begins, really clarifies the way that their timelines intersect.

The romance was pretty intense.

It's not that I'm against romance, but I was the sort of person that was definitely there for the time travel.

Creating a cyclical timeline and presenting it to the audience so smoothly, with so many surprises, can't be an easy feat.

It was beautiful. Some parts were exhilarating, other parts were terribly depressing, and overall I love how invested I got in the story.
