Summary of this Book...
When I first started to read, I wasn't sure I wanted to continue. The writing style seemed a little amateur. Like, it seemed to be written like I would have written it. However (and this is a big however), before long, I was hooked. Completely and utterly hooked. I couldn't wait to read more.

The plot: Kimberley King is 'chosen' (at random?) to be a contestant on a reality TV show called LoveWrecked. She flies out to a Greek island where she meets four other contestants and two crew members. Their first night in the island house is spent drinking and eating. A few minor arguments occur between the contestants, but it all seems relatively tame. Then, the next morning, one of the contestants is found, murdered, lying face-down in the swimming pool.

And so, the nightmare begins. As an ex police officer, Kimberley is tasked by a mysterious 'Judge' (via the TV screens in the house) to discover who the murderer is, for it must be one of them as the island is completed deserted apart from them. One by one, contestants die, and Kimberley is in a race to save herself and the other innocent islanders. Of course, none of them are innocent. They have all been chosen to participate because of something in their past that needs avenging.

I know this isn't the most original plot. There are a lot of these closed room thrillers at the moment. But it is one of the more exciting ones. The claustrophobia felt by the contestants as they are trapped, unable to leave, with a murderer amongst them. It really is very good.

At the end, I was momentarily disappointed. But, then, I discovered I wasn't quite at the end. There is a great twist.
This type of Book is good for...
Fans of psychological thrillers. Fans of fast-paced, exciting plots.
I especially liked...
The suspense. The way the author had me trusting no one and constantly changing my mind about the murderer's identity. The author reveals each new piece of information at exactly the right times.
I didn't like...
The book had numerous (and, I mean numerous) typos. A new editor would make a huge difference with that.
This Book made me feel...
Excited. Tense. Afraid. Happy. Entertained.
The n/a of this Book...
The author is S.V. Leonars. I'd never heard of her before. This book was a Christmas present. She does have other books in this genre, though.
I recommend this Book because...
It's exciting, and once you start to try to figure it out, you can't stop.
I don't recommend this Book because...
Is it the best written book in the world? No. But it really doesn't matter because the author has the tension and suspense spot on.
