Jennifer Autumn Warwick was born in the badlands of New Mexico under the Scorpio Sun in 1972. Ms. Warwick grew up mostly in New Mexico and Colorado. She is a poet, creative writer, English and social science educator, singer, and mother of three. Ms. Warwick is the winner of the University of New Mexico’s Best Student Essay (2002), The Lena Todd Memorial Award in Creative Nonfiction (2001), and New Mexico’s Becoming an Outdoor Woman Essay Scholarship (2008).
