| I'm a fourth year art student at Appalachian State University, planning to go on to graduate school for painting and drawing. For me, writing is no different than painting. Art, literature, music, dance, theater, mathematics, science and philosophy are all simply ways to attempt to understand the incomprehensible world around us. Each one of us must choose the method that is best suited to him or her. |

| Reading, obviously, but it bears mentioning since it's my favorite thing to do outside of art. I love animals. I foster puppies and kittens when school's not too rough. I like horseback riding, but I only get to do it at my parents' house. |
