Terry served twenty years in the United States Navy before retiring in January 2006. Terry began his writing career in 1999 short stories as a challenge, eventually ending with the completion of his first horror novel, Red Sky In Mourning. Terry furthered his education by finishing his Creative Writing for Entertainment bachelorette degree through Full Sail University in October 2013.
