Well I used to think my life was totally boring, after starting this journal I've just come to realize it's boring in an interesting way... Come one, come all, and read the life and times of the poet Darká, and then head on over to my poems folder and enjoy some poems (even if they are usually dark and morbid and depressing, and this hasn't enticed you to go read them yet!?). | Okay so I'm listening to Puck & Natty's only real song right now, it's kinda sad that I am. To fill you all in, Puck & Natty was the rap duo Stephan Jenkins was in prior to starting Third Eye Blind. Good thing he stuck with 3eb! The song is "Just Wanna Be Your Friend" and it's off the beverly hills 90210 soundtrack. All you diehard 3eb fans may want to check it out. It's an okay song and I know there are those of you 3eb fans who are looking to get every thign you can. Also check out Majik Alex (Tony's previous band, which he may still do something with to the side!), you can get all three of their demo songs at tonyfredianelli.com if you want. | I've been going through a lot of past poems and revising them...making them not suck like back in my early days. It's kind of fun to polish the old gems and make them actually shine for once...okay so maybe I'm over doing it a bit. You get the idea. I'm still looking for that story I wanna put up...guess I should keep better track of stuff. Maybe I should organize, say it isn't so! Oh well, It'll turn up...hopefully. Jamming to theSTART right now. Very little known band, but good. They have some really good songs, haven't been able to find the entire album though. Let me know if you have any idea where to find any of their stuff, thanks! Thanks to all of you who have been rating and/or reviewing me lately, I appreciate it a lot. I've been getting some nice feedback and it's good to know people care! For those of you who don't know, there are a number of forums and in and outs that specialize in reviewing...I reccomend it! ****And now for a helpful hand to a fellow Writing.Com member. | I'm working on putting more stuff up for you guys to peruse and enjoy. I've already put up a few more poems. There's a short story I wrote awhile back that I want to put up in my stories section, if I can find where I ever put it. I'll keep you all posted if can remember to do that. I'm enjoying the new modem I got a few days ago...DSL, puts dial up to shame, yay. Oh, and add me to the long list of cancelling AOL horror stories. Managed to cancel, even though I still have servie until August. Not that it does me any good since AOL wouldn't recognize the new modem. Which the guy said he fixed, he didn't! Right now I'm chilling and listening to the new Third Eye Blind (3eb) album, Out of the Vein. It kicks ass, all you 3eb fans need to make sure you've got all three! I sort of miss Kevin being in the band but I really like Tony more, so I'm happy with that change. (For all those who don't know, Kevin C. was sort of fired from the band a couple years ago soon after the band's second album came out.) I just hope Tony gets back to work a little with Majik Alex. I've been addicted to the band's demo (which only has three songs that are playing at 80kbps bitrate). Yeah, I'm sad, but they're really good! Ooh, and I went to the Within Arms Reach Tour, that was really good, if any of you live on the west coast make sure you get tickets cause the tour is still going on over on that end I think. | Well it's really early in the morning right now, but hey that's what summer vacation is for right. I added some more of my poems to Poet Darká's poems. I hope you all like them, and please let me know what you think! I deleted what there was of the Origins story. Why? Well my friend and I are making a comic and it turned out to be good for that medium so I went with it. I'll let you guys all know what happens with that.
