Looking for writing apps!
Do you specifically mean apps in the context of your phone or iPad, or applications as in software to enhance productivity?

In the meantime, I found a free software hosted online (so you don't have to download anything on your computer) that helps manage and organize the writing process. You can create plotlines, chapters, scenes, character sketches, setting profiles, etc. It also guides you through the development of your theme and motifs and explains the difference between different literary different elements. I find it incredibly useful even with short stories. Also much more helpful than facing a blank screen. I like being prompted sometimes.

Hey Jimmy,
Thanks for the tip! I'll definitely check this out.
Life often has me on the road or in places without a computer. A lot of my writing is done on spirals and legal pads, something i wad hoping to change with a tablet or note phone. Anyways, I was looking at some apps to see if any of them would be useful. Some people who reviewed Writometer said it helped them set and meet goals for NaNoWriMo. There was a vocabulary app I downloaded meant to prepare students for the GRE. And of course the Writing.com app. Otherwise I haven't really found anything. I ended up downloading grammar and writing exercising e-books. :)
I wanted to share the writing resources folder I am assembling in my portfolio since your bioblock says you're an aspiring writer. I have a passion for learning and education, so I wanted to curate some useful information on the craft of writing. I'm a bit of a fan of the saying "learn the rules then break them."
