Hey! A big "THANK YOU" to everyone who took a moment of their time to read what I had posted. And sorry for the formatting problems, I'm still getting used to this website, and I'll be sure to correct it for future reviews. Been busy working 2 jobs lately (writers still have to make a living somehow), so been pretty pre-occupied. Hoping to have some edited, as well as new material, to read soon. Thank you everyone for your support.

Hello! Im new to the writing community. I'm always looking to improve my skills, but I can't do that without some feedback. If anyone would like to read my work and give me some feedback on what they like, dislike, and how I can improve my technique, that would be most appreciated ^^
I took a quick peek, but didn't actually read it. Well, I did the very beginning, which starts off good in building the scene, his surrounding.

Your formatting needs a little work because it's difficult to read. By that I mean use double space between paragraphs. It's not too bad in the beginning, but half way through everything is all jumbled together. There seems to be no separation between paragraphs.

I noticed a lot of letter "a" with a symbol over it (â), even when it appears to be not part of a name. Is there a reason for that?

Did you mean to write these words like the following examples? âthere, âAnd, â said Art. It leaves me confused - are they names or new words?

Go back over your story, make sure there's a space after periods, commas, question marks... (,.?!;:)

I liked your last sentence. It's peaceful and matches the character's actions.

Those comments are based on a quick peak not a detailed review.
Hello Art welcome to WDC. *Smile* I peeked into your port and I agree with Flamer. You probably dragged the document from your computer and uploaded here. Maybe that is the reason why too many of 'â' symbol you have. However, you can fix it by editing your story here in your portfolio. On the right upper corner of your story you will notice item tools. When you click on it you will see edit item and other options.

Art, I've notice you didn't set up your bioblock in your portfolio. People here actually enter your portfolio and they like to sneak around to find if they have something to read and Bioblock help us to find out more about you from the first hand. There we usually write little bit about ourselves and genres we like to write about or read. You may check mine of Flamer's bio to see how it looks like for example.

If you fill up your bio next time when you get online send me an email that you did it and I'll send you welcome merit badge. If you don't know how to edit your portfolio and write your bio block send me an email again and I will explain it to you in details. *Smile*

Minya.
~Minja~ Hadn't thought dragging and dropping could have caused that problem - good point.

I hadn't thought to include how to edit documents saved/posted within WDC - good idea.

I agree with Minya, there should be something in the bio. Art if you don't feel like answering every question/blank space that's fine, but a little something about you would be nice. When you click on Portfolio or Biography look to the right on the banner, you'll see Manager Portfolio and Manager Biography - click on it and it'll open up allowing you to edit it.
