Write what makes you happy! Are you going to participate in NaNo (AKA NaNoWriMo AKA National Novel Writing Month)? It's every November where people from all around the world try to write 50k words towards a novel of their choosing. I'm currently prepping one that's a fantasy western about a guy who is asked to deliver a simple message. Only, he doesn't realize the message might be simple, but getting it to the recipient could be deadly. *Bigsmile* You could write a superheroine novel in November, if you want. Well, it's not a WHOLE novel and it's certainly not finished and ready to publish. But you have a great jumpstart on a novel. *Delight* You can also do a series of short stories which would equal 50k words. That would make you a NaNo Rebel because you're not exactly doing what the rest of us are. *Laugh*

Whatever you plan to do, good luck with your stories!
My advice: Writing superhuman story, refer to "Superman" and "Batman".

To see more of what's going on, spend time on the Community Newsfeed. Click Newsfeed to get to your default Personal Newsfeed. Then, along the top, you'll see "View the Community Newsfeed." Click that and you'll see what everyone is posting (within your rating limit), not just your tiny corner of WdC.

Scroll, Like, comment, and start making friends. When you meet a person you want to keep up with, double click their plus sign until you see the megaphone.

That notifies them that you've become a fan of theirs. Some people (like me) will even reward new fans or fan them back, though most folks do neither. *Wink* If you only click their plus once, they aren't notified so they can't reward you when you only set them as a favorite and see the finger with the string, thus why clicking to the megaphone is better. *Smile* In either case, you'll start seeing their Newsfeed notes when they post on their own Newsfeed.
