I’m following a trail.
Left by who?
They’ll know. They will know when I find them, then they will know me.

But their conclusion will be followed by them.
In the meantime... I’ll leave a trail of my own.
Slowly and surely, time clogs at my wheels.
But still I churn and creak, slowly, surely, waking up.

Long slumber shaking loose... it shudders, and halts.
Then thrums to life.

I have returned, after a long season. I’m glad to be back and awake! Hello world!!

Why can’t I just tell you that I miss you?
Maybe because I’m afraid you’ll forget me in spite.

A sunflower follows the sun, soaking in its light.
Poppies surround my feet.
Roses are so lovely, though the thorns are all I feel.
Lavender surrounds my mouth.
Bleeding hearts vine around my chest.
My sensitive hands catch on every sprig.
