I've read most of the books, except for Chapterhouse and anything after it. For some reason, I can never finish that book. I chose the name because there is something interesting about Paul's dad. He knows that he is going into a situation that will probably end badly, but has the sense of duty and honor to go anyway.
Thanks for point this out! That is emotionally important and such involvement is desirable between author and reader. "Herbert" would be happy.
