Where do I begin... I EDITED. I believe a scrapped at least half of the "was"s, the "had"s and the "going to"s. I didn't realize that almost 1% of the words I use is "was"! I also removed a bunch of descriptive words and restructured some of the paragraphs. I've still got lots to do!

I changed "a few year ago" to "a few years ago". Thank you for catching that!
I noticed that the article said "in the news" and I changed that to "on the news".

Here it goes! My first actual entry on WdC. I'm both excited and afraid for what people will think about it. I think I did at least a decent job, but I am looking forward to any critical review. I want to improve this first Aluinnia chapter!

I forgot to specify that this was actually a chapter from a bigger story in the description, so I edited that.
