Hi there, garlictonic! Welcome to WDC!

I noticed a few horror stories in your portfolio and also saw that you entered the "The Grim Reaper Contest - Closed" , so I wanted to stop in and let you know about some other great spooky contests going on right now to celebrate the month of Halloween!

"SCREAMS!!!"
This is a contest for horror writers with a daily prompt to get your creative juices flowing!

"'SCREAMS!!!' HALLOWEEN CONTEST!"
In the same theme as the above daily contest, a special month-long, Halloween-themed contest is running as well!

"Invalid Item"
If the contests above didn't catch your fancy, this one is hosted by a new member like yourself and the prompt for October is "Success at Any Cost."

Thanks for the raffle tickets as well...? Do raffles here work like raffles anywhere else or is there something I should know about it ?

You're very welcome! RE: Raffle Tickets - your name is in the pot now, so if the Random Dice chooses you at the drawing, you win something! 1 in 13 people win, so you have a good chance. You'll get an email about it when the tickets are processed. There's nothing else you have to do right now though
