Well June 4th will be here very shortly. I am having a total knee replacement on June 4th. I have to be there at 6:30 in the morning. I am excited yet I am also very anxious. I have full faith in my surgeon. I am in a lot of pain right now. Once I have the surgery I will be in discomfort but it will be better. The pain is going to stop! I will still post and review from my phone.

I have been away for a few days due to it being my birthday and I was spending my time with my nephews who are six and nine. They are the most beautiful little boys. They are also so pure and they point out things that nobody has ever thought about. They also love writing so we spent some time writing together. Their little stories cracked me up.

Today I am making a list of names so I can refer to it when I am naming my characters. A great site for names is BABYNAMES.com if anyone is interested in this.

I am almost finished with my story, "WEIRDO". I cannot wait to finish this story it has been a very difficult piece of work. I will post it in my portfolio when I am finished.

Well, I thought I would be out of commission due to having surgery on the second of January. Come to find out they cancelled the surgery due to me needing to have a pulmonary function test done. Why they didn't tell me this before is beyond me. I am so disappointed.

Sadly to say that this is the one year anniversary of Carrie Fisher passing away. She was a beautiful, elegant woman who cared for people.

I will be out of commission for about two weeks as of January 2, 2018 due to having a total knee replacement done. I am a little nervous but I had one knee done last year and I am having the other done now. I know what to expect but it still causes a little anxiety.

I wrote a five part story called FREEDOM. It is about two kids, a brother and sister, who escape their father's physical abuse. I would like it if I got some replies on the story, good or bad, I would enjoy hearing from you. Thank you for taking your time to read it. - JJ Del
