Titles - not something I've given much thought right now. My current book that I'm spending most of my time on is titled 'Hers Hers from Mine Mine' . . . My titles come from the progression of file-sources, nothing story related. The original file for this was titled "Mine" because I had someone else's work on my computer (that she was letting me read) and I didn't want to confuse mine with hers. With each new redo and point of view change I renamed it - 'Mine Mine' . . . then 'Mine Mine Alternates' and then when I change the character from male to female I titled it 'Hers from Mine,' and so on . . . Like anyone cares :). But someone asked me what it's called and I don't have a name for it, I'd thought I'd explain why.
Character study - working through a scene not related to my story with my character's need for public/people. This aspect of my character I haven't been handling well and need to work with it more to figure her out. I didn't want her to be like me - and I knew it would be a challenge. . . but didn't realize how much of a challenge.

I refuse to keep quitting and starting over, I'm just going to tackle it and keep going forward.

 Character Practice - VF  ()
I struggle to stay faithful to my character's self in some situations - this is practice.

Today I wrote and then promptly deleted (aka - shifted to the 'trash pile' file) 10K words of my story due to it wandering too far away from my plot. It was good, I thought - but wrong for this particular story.

My trash file is larger than my story at present because I keep doing things like this - it's a horrid habit.
