It was a rough day..... I want to write something about it later after everyone is asleep. Lately, all that comes out feels like whiney recounts of the day's events.......maybe I'll try a story.....

That's often a strong way to cope - write a story about events as if happening to someone else. It can help get a different perspective on thongs abd enable us to take a step back.
Yes, try a story and make your antagonists suffer silly mishaps that cause them trouble but don't seriously harm them.

Blogs are a place people expect whining. *Laugh*
I think I'm ready to try this writing where people can see it thing. I have always used writing to deal with things in my life. Sometimes turning some of the nasty stuff into stories where somehow, eventually the darkness was chased away, sometimes it was just writing it exactly how it happened, thinking someone was gonna want to know what really happened someday. I've lost every single one, and no one had read any of them. Maybe now I can archive the old ones and make some new ones, cause the universe hasn't got and kinder over the years, just more creatively cruel.
