         I don't like life that much. There are no discernible main characters, no central plot line, nothing to lose or gain. I keep waiting for it to pick up, to begin accelerating toward some action-packed, tear-inducing conclusion. I keep expecting a moral to emerge with the rising stakes, a message to the story of life. Maybe something about the human spirit, or unity and sticking together, or family, or better yet, something about the power of love. Hell, anything would do.
First, yeah. I intentionally left that blank to emphasize that I was NOT considering walking out.

Second,I think it's a fair dose of both. I mean, the harder you try, the more you restrict the flow of ideas in the moment, but at the same time the harder you try, the higher you guarantee that the ideas WILL come... when you stop trying. If that makes any sense.
My reply made no sense. Let me try again: I think all great ideas come from inspiration. Granted, you have a greater chance of catching them if you happen to have a pen in your hand when they come. And you will never understand them if you don't write them down and sort them out. But still, the main force of the ideas come on their own accord, in their own way, and regardless of how hard you try to force them.
But I have a question now: where were you going with that? I need to know.

Also I was a bit curious about this quote: "people get pretty freaked out when you begin to consider it. Trust me." The words,"Trust me" tend to imply "I've tried that. Don't go there." Was there something you were insinuating between the lines?

Wow. I just read a narrative nonfiction novel called "the Black Count" about a brilliant black general in 1700s France. It has me thinking: there must be something fundamentally bad-ass in black people's DNA. I mean, just reading about this man's exploits, you would think he was Captain America. But he's not. He's just a black guy fighting for his freedom in Revolutionary France. And such conditions necessitate awesomeness. Anyways, it's a good read. Check it out.

Life Guarding. We were short life guards, so I was required far more than I wanted to go to work.
Haha. Did your pale skin sparkle in the sun like Edward's?
When it showed... I tried to wear a jacket over my lifeguard tank top as much as possible to avoid ridiculous tan-lines--or rather, ridiculous off-white-lines.
Hmm... I never did go to Iowa, did I? If only there were secret stashes of money lying around for people who needed them...
By the way, Mr. Z, I'm keeping a document going that contains the entire Editing Room story. So far, we're over 10,000 words.

It looks like I fun place. I just couldn't keep up. I still like to stop in every now and again to see what's happening.
By the by, I blame all grammatical and mechanical errors on adjusting to the German keyboard. The fault for erratic responses and incoherent statements goes to my annoying lab partner. Anything that makes you smile or laugh can be credited to me. Thank you. Haha.

Give it time. I could feed you song lyrics, if you like, as that's the majority of my latest projects. But there seems to be something counterproductive to me in posting, to a writers' forum, work that I have no intention of changing.
Do you ever do anything stupid, or illogical, or subpar? I don't expect you do, but it's worth asking.

Anyway, I'm mostly curious to learn more about your writing style. I'd like to see what you like to write about. You know, stuff like that.
To whom it may concern, (hint: it may concern those friends of mine who, like myself, often add absurd posts to absurd in&outs)

I have created my own absurd in&out: "The Editing Room." I would appreciate it if you could visit said In&Out to add your absurdity to it. I know, some of you say, "why would I help Z? He's arrogant, self-centered and thinks he's a super-writer." But I've written such a brilliant intro that you have to come. So don't even think about trying not to.

Lol. I have never once thought you were arrogant. I've been angry because you said something about my writing, and it was completely accurate, but that's about it. =P
What was it that made you angry?
A lot of it was because of stupid things that I knew I should have fixed, but was too lazy to until you pointed it out. I was more angry at me than at you. It's hard not to feel that way when a writer you respect corrects you on something you already knew you should fix. Bleh.
My account turned four 3 hours ago. Thus, a moment of reflection: four years ago, I was... damn. I don't know whether I want to think about this after all. I was incredibly immature and unlikable. My writing was worlds away from quality or completion. My political views were biased and often unfounded. I'm just glad I didn't have to be friends or family to me during that time.

In the past four years, I had my first relationship and first breakup, thankfully in that order...
Happy 4th birthday, Mr Zaborski! Like you say, there is only a few of us making absurd comments after each other, so let the good times continue to roll! *Bigsmile*

Yo! What's up? It's been a while, and I figured school would be out for most people by now, so you're more likely to be on here. Besides, you've been frequenting the I/Os a bit more.

I'm great! Thanks for asking. As a matter of fact, I am writing a (very long, very ambitious) poem right now. I might post it after I finish (weeks from now.)

Nah. I'm enjoying it. I may not be after reading it enough times, but I haven't read it enough times for that to happen yet.
