Devastating storms strike the US East
As a result of a severe weather outbreak, hundreds of thousands of people lost power and there were significant travel disruptions throughout the Eastern US.

Forecasts indicated that the fiercest storms could produce destructive hurricane-force wind gusts of up to 80 mph. As the storms pounded numerous states and significant urban regions with severe wind gusts reported up to 71 mph, including Atlanta, Washington, D.C., Baltimore, Philadelphia, and Charlotte, North Carolina, power disruptions and airline cancellations mounted dramatically.

Judge Tanya S. Chutkan/Trump's legal
Judge Tanya S. Chutkan denied a motion from Donald Trump's legal team to postpone the former president's response due to a protective order request, which may have restricted what information Trump and his legal team can publicly disclose regarding the criminal investigation against him in Washington.
The request for an extension from Monday, August 7 to Thursday, August 10 to file a response to the motion was made by Trump's attorneys on Saturday. They said they needed "adequate time to prepare a fulsome response."

Chutkan, though, denied the request on Saturday night and reiterated that Trump's team had to adhere to the Monday 5 p.m. deadline.

Even her breaths were counted between the words. Hadeel was confused and did not understand what had happened to her. As soon as she received her certificate, her parents embraced her, she grabbed her bag, asked her father for the keys, and left towards his car. And there was Janika behind her, wanting to know the reason because they had agreed to celebrate and have a night out together. As she tried to hold her hand, she pushed her away, saying, "Leave me alone, I want to go." Hadeel left the place immediately and went straight to her room, lying on her bed in her hot dress without removing it ......

she heard a voice calling her, "Hadeel, Hadeel, I'm here, wait!" She tried to locate the source of the voice and saw her, with her lips moving gently and her silky hair flowing on her shoulders and neck. She tried to focus and hear what she was saying, but in vain. She was getting lost in the details. Between the black eyelashes and the rosy lips, thousands of thoughts haunted her until she felt a touch on her shoulder, Janika's hand. Then she heard her saying, "Hadeel, are you okay? What happened?" It was then that she remembered the fragmented scenes that frightened her, and she burst into tears in Janika's arms. Janika brought her some water and they sat in one of the classrooms. Janika tried to understand what had happened to her, but in vain, because she herself did not understand what was happening to her. Then she asked her to quickly put on a new makeup because the party was about to start and there was no time left. She smiled and acted quickly, heading towards the hall. Once again, she panicked before entering, but this time Janika was with her. She held her hand and told her that she was here by her side and that everything would be fine. They entered the hall and everyone was present: her friends, family, teachers, parents, and everyone she knew. But strangely, it seemed as if she only saw Janika. How she spoke, how she walked, how she held her hand. Even her breaths were counted between the words.....

She opened her eyes to realize that she exists and begins her journey in life. It was a day filled with exhaustion and fatigue as she fought to be born and emerge from her mother's womb, leaving behind a bloody war. Four years passed and before her fifth birthday, the shock hit her as she experienced harassment and for the first time she saw the male genitalia of an adult man in front of her.
Then suddenly she closed her eyes to open them again at the age of 18, and the only question that kept repeating inside her was what happened that day?
And like any girl her age, she continues her daily routine from school to home, meeting a group of friends, some songs, dancing, and a lot of neglected household chores. High school days quickly passed, and now graduation party has arrived.

She prepared herself eagerly to receive her certificate and chose the most beautiful dress. She spent the night excitedly preparing for this party. The sun rose and she prepared to go to her high school. As she entered the high school and walked down the corridor leading to the graduation hall, her breath became heavy and her heartbeat quickened. Fragmented memories returned to her mind, and as soon as she placed her hand on the door handle, she let go and turned around, trembling with unanswered questions. As she walked down the hallway towards the exit, she heard a voice calling her.......

I see you posted this twice, with this looking like the shorter version that you maybe decided you didn't like as well as the longer one. I agree.

You can delete this one by clicking the little arrow thingy in the upper right corner of your note above. You'll see some options. One is Delete Note (or something like that). Click that and it should ask if you want to delete this note. Since you have the other, I would recommend you delete this, but it's up to you, of course.

In the future, you can just edit your note when you decide you want to change it. Click the little arrow thingy and choose Edit Note. Below your note, but above my comment, you'll see an edit box (if you are practicing before you delete the note--which I recommend

). Edit as you please in this box, the click the button below to save the edit. When you are done, if you realize you made another mistake and need to edit again, you have to refresh the page first. I know. I frequently edit multiple times.

Note that if you make a mistake in a comment, you can just ignore it, assuming we will realize it's a typo, or you can delete your comment by clicking the X in the upper right corner of your comment. You can't edit a comment on a Newsfeed note. (But you can edit a comment in a forum.
